Pupils Design Wins as the New Logo for The Stourbridge Educational Trust
Pedmore competes with other schools in a design competition
Four schools, all, members of The Stourbridge Educational Trust (TSET) competed to be the winning designers for the trust logo recently. Two students from each school; Thorns Community College, Redhill School, Pedmore Technology College, and Ridgewood High School were finalists at the event held at the new Art and Design Centre of Stourbridge College in Brierley Hill.
Principals of Stourbridge College and King Edward VI College judged the entries and awarded first prize to Ridgewood pupil, Chloe Taylor for her design. Second Prize went to James Ellis and James Statham also of Ridgewood school and third prize was awarded to Nayla Tabasum of Pedmore Technology College.
All prize winners received gift vouchers. The Principal commented on the high standard of work from all finalists.
