Black Country Living Museum recognise PTC students contribution to new building and entrance
Students from the winning PTC team presented with a plaque to recognise their contribution to the design of a new BCLM building and entrance
On 14th December former PTC students and staff were invited to attend an event at the Black Country Living Museum to celebrate the contribution made to the design of the museum's Brook Entrance and building.
The students took part in the Women in Property and Construction event in 2014 when they were in Year 9 and won the competition beating several other midland school teams (some of them sixth forms). Their winning design has been brought to life thanks to a joint project between BCLM and the University of Wolverhampton. The Museum's Managing Director and Paul Hampton from the University of Wolverhampton unveiled a plaque which will go on the building's wall in recognition of our students contribution to the building, design and function as an educational hub.
We are delighted to announce that we entered the competition again in 2017 and won it again!
