Supporting Mental Health Awareness Week

We are raising awareness of Mental Health this week

Our SEND team are supporting Mental Health Awareness Week this week and raising awareness of the importance of recognising the signs of metal illness and how everyone can help to improve their own mental health and well being.

Outside the SEND room, the noticeboards have been devoted to the promotion of the Mental Health Awareness Week with displays explaining  the range of common mental health problems and the signs to be aware of in oneself and others and how and where to get help/support. ‚ÄčIn addition to this, the team have launched a competition to students, (click here for details), where they need to be creative in three areas of design, poetry and photography,  submiting a creative piece describing "What Mental Health Means To You".
