Following a Literacy project based on the local legend of "Who put Bella in the Wych Elm?" last year, Pedmore students Anna Barnard and Harley Keasey (now in Year 10) were inspired to write their own Musical re-telling of the tale. In addition to writing the script and musical score, the aspiring playwrights were also responsible for the audition process, direction, choreography and costuming. This is an INCREDIBLE achievement in addition to their GCSE work and the multitude of other commitments and responsibilities these students have. Harley, Anna and the cast are so excited to be performing the show on THURSDAY 9TH MAY AT 7PM. Tickets are on sale from the drama room at a cost of £2 (£1.50 for students). Don't miss out!

  • Parents - Online Safety Guide for using MOMO Challenge

    Published 28/02/19

    Dear Parent/Carer

Today, we have been made aware of a game called the ‘MOMO Challenge’ which has been linked to various social networking Apps such as Facebook, WhatsApp, YouTube, and most recently YouTube Kids.

Please click on the image to see the full article  The ‘challenges’ that are suggested have been reported to be highly inappropriate and could potentially cause a safeguarding concern.

We have been sent an online safety guide regarding MOMO for parents/carers and it is embedded in this news item.  . We appreciate you taking the time to talk to your son/daughter about this and their online activity in general and as ever should you have any concerns with any social media site please ensure that you report these to the relevant organisation. Any immediate concerns should be reported directly to CEOP. We do not expect young people to cease all on-line activity but together we do need to constantly remind them about how to keep themselves safe.

Thank you for your support in this matter.

    Yours sincerely

    G Lloyd - Headteacher
