Solutions for the Planet - The Big Idea

On September 4th, Solutions for the Planet worked with our Year 9 presenting big issues from around the world and the students were tasked to devise solutions for them. A group of Year 9’s have developed their ideas further and are devising a business plan to launch their product/campaign for the “Big Idea” Competition.

The group worked tirelessly on their projects towards the March deadline when they submitted their plans.  We were delighted to announce that 3 out of our 4 teams were selected for a regional semi-final at the University of Wolverhampton on Thursday 12th May.  Our sucess didn't end there  - Reece Faulkner of PTC's Team Pulse won and he and his supporting team are now through to the final at Westminster Palace in London!   For full information on the Big Idea go to http://www.solutionsfortheplanet.co.uk/bigIdeas/
