Pedmore currently having a lockdown drill

As part of our standard fire drill, evacuation, lockdown and safety procedures we are currently staging a mock lockdown of the college site. This is a test and ensures that staff and students are familiar with the procedure and confident in the process. We will update this webpage as soon as the test procedure is complete.

PTC Eco Council want us all to Give An Hour for The Earth

Turn off the lights on 29th March for an hour

Our Eco Council are busy promoting the World Wildlife Funds Earth Hour on 29th March 2014.  They are attending assemblies, encouraging students and their parents to sign up to turning off lights for just one hour at 8:30pm on 29th March 2014.

Earth Hour is “the world’s biggest celebration for our amazing planet, hundreds of millions of people from across the world coming together in a symbolic and spectacular light outs display. It’s a brilliant reminder that together we can make change happen, and it gives us a chance to think about the small things we can do everyday to help create a brighter future. So whether you reflect under the stars or celebrate by candlelight, it’s a moment to say you’ll do your bit to protect our planet – not just for one hour, but every day.” WWF Earth Hour
