Pedmore currently having a lockdown drill

As part of our standard fire drill, evacuation, lockdown and safety procedures we are currently staging a mock lockdown of the college site. This is a test and ensures that staff and students are familiar with the procedure and confident in the process. We will update this webpage as soon as the test procedure is complete.

What a Night – Our Sell-Out Summer Concert

A fantastic warm summer evening of music and drama at PTC

Our Summer Concert this year was a sell out as parents, staff and friends filled our school hall to be treated to an array of musical and acting talent.

Acts varied from singers, pianists, euphonium players, guitarists, keyboards, dancers, African drumming, drama, our orchestral ensemble and our choir.

An outstanding performance was given by Matthew Whitehouse, a talented pianist who treated the audience to a Mozart duo with Mrs Bates, Head of Music followed by playing his own classical music composition!

The student cast of Bugsy Malone (our 2013-2014 production) performed extracts from the show to give parents a taster of this year’s extravaganza.

Our choir ended the performance with a sing-along with everyone joining in with a well know Queen anthem.

Mr Lloyd said, “This is my first Summer Concert at PTC and I have been blown away by the standard of performance and the wide array of talent we have here related to Performing Arts.  Tonight we have seen the fruit of the hard work and dedication of our Expressive Arts department and there ever growing group of student performers.  What a night!”
