PTC supports Red Nose Day and Sunfield fundraising in one day!

Students fundraiser have a tour of Sunfield School  and handover cheque on Red Nose Day

Students had a multi fundraising day on Friday 24th March with a whole school mufti to raise funds for Comic Relief Red Nose Day combined with a cheque handover to Sunfield School, Clent.

3 year 7 students Charlie, Olivia and Amy, were inspired to raise funds following an assembly at school by Georgina Forrest, Partnership Development Manager at Sunfield.  They decided to arrange their own Cake Sale and raised over £75 in just one sales event.  Georgina invited the group to visit Sunfield to meet staff and students and tour the site to gain a better understanding of this independent residential special school and charity in the West Midlands supporting boys and girls, aged 6 – 19 years, with complex learning needs, including Autism and PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance Syndrome).

Students donned their red noses (on sale at Pedmore for Comic Relief) for their cheque handover photograph.
