Sad news of Alfie Rose

We were all very saddened to hear of Alfie Rose’s (a former PTC student) death recently.  Our staff and many of our existing students knew Alfie and expressed that they would like to raise funds for Alfie’s family towards funeral costs at this sad time.  As a result, a range of activities took place at PTC on Thursday 16th June.  PLEASE CLICK ON ALFIE'S PHOTOGRAPH FOR FULL DETAILS OF OUR FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES OR HOW TO DONATE ONLINE

We were all very saddened to hear of Alfie Rose’s (a former PTC student) death recently.  Our staff and many of our existing students knew Alfie and have expressed that they would like to raise funds for Alfie’s family towards funeral costs at this sad time.  As a result, a range of activities took place at PTC on Thursday 16th June.  The day was an official mufti day where £1 let staff and students dress in camouflage and VANS (if possible) – two of Alfie’s favourite clothes.  During lunchtime we hosted “Splat the Teacher” on D block playground where students had the rare opportunity to soak a teacher for only £1 for 3 very wet sponges – something we think Alfie would have enjoyed.  There is was also a raffle to win a family ticket to the West Midlands Safari Park, an official Euro 2016 football and more.     We are pleased to announce that we have raised in £876.92

In addition to our fundraising, a balloon release took place on Saturday 18th June at 1.30pm at Mary Stephens Park (Red, Black, Blue balloons) and a fundraising page for the funeral costs is at https://www.gofundme.com/
